Randi Passoff began her journey with breast cancer when diagnosed in 1995. She realized then there was a void in the breast cancer community, and those fighting breast cancer were struggling with financial issues. At that point, Randi started getting involved with local and national breast cancer organizations.
After several years of participating in the Avon Breast Cancer 3-Day Walk, she created It’s The Journey, Inc and the Atlanta 2-Day Walk for Breast Cancer, where she served as Executive Director. Randi’s efforts helped raise over $7 million for Atlanta and Georgia breast cancer organizations.
In 2009, Randi started Paint Georgia Pink, Inc with the hope of providing direct assistance to those struggling to meet day-to-day financial obligations because of their breast cancer surgery, treatment, recovery, and care. Before she was able to realize that dream, Randi sadly lost her battle with breast cancer on September 22, 2010. She left an indelible mark on the Atlanta and Georgia breast cancer community and all those who knew her. To honor Randi’s memory, Paint Georgia Pink continues to strive to fulfill that dream.
